Tour Itinerary
Lake Chala, also called Dschalla, is a crater lake in a caldera on the eastern edge of Mount Kilimanjaro, bordering both Tanzania and Kenya, approximately 48 kilometers from Moshi Town. The trip there takes around one hour. The color changes from deep blue to turquoise to green throughout the year, and the crater rim reaches up to a height of 100 meters. On average, each year, 10 million m³ of groundwater from Mount Kilimanjaro's slopes feed and drain the lake. Our well-trained, professional, polite, customer-focused guide will accompany you and provide you with information on your day tour.
