Embark on an unforgettable 4-day safari through Tanzania’s most iconic national parks. Start with a visit to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. Next, explore the vast Serengeti National Park, home to the Great Migration and a haven for big cats and wildlife. End your adventure with a visit to the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, an intact volcanic caldera teeming with diverse wildlife, including the rare black rhino. This safari offers a chance to witness the Big Five and experience some of the world’s best wildlife viewing.

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30 AM. From there, you'll drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive, complete with a picnic lunch. This park, Tanzania’s third-largest, is famous for its towering baobab trees that seem to dwarf the wildlife beneath them. The Tarangire River is the park’s focal point, drawing large herds of elephants. You’ll also have the chance to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and many more. After an exciting day in the park, you'll return to your lodge or camp for a delicious dinner.

Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the iconic Serengeti National Park. The journey, although long, is filled with stunning landscapes that will stay with you forever. As you enter the Serengeti, you'll be awestruck by the endless plains that stretch to the horizon, giving the park its name, which means "endless plains" in the local language. The Serengeti is home to the Great Migration, with millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes roaming freely. It’s also a prime location for spotting big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Get ready for a true wildlife spectacle.

Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Exploration

After a hearty breakfast, spend the day fully immersed in the Serengeti's wilderness. You have the option to either enjoy a full-day game drive or divide your exploration into morning and evening sessions, with time for relaxation in the afternoon. For those eager to experience everything this majestic park has to offer, we recommend a full-day adventure to maximize wildlife sightings.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Following breakfast, you’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s natural wonders, known for its breathtaking beauty and diverse wildlife. Descend into the crater, which spans 102 square miles (264 square km) and is home to the endangered black rhinos. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, standing over 600 meters (2000 feet) deep. With around 20,000 large mammals and a variety of birds, including buffaloes, zebras, and other herbivores, it's a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. After a day of exploration with a picnic lunch, your guide will take you back to Arusha.
