Tour Itinerary
A 3-day safari in Tanzania includes visits to Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Crater. Each of these destinations provides unique experiences, from lush forests and diverse birdlife to the iconic African savannah and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 1: Arusha National Park
Start the day with a morning game drive in Arusha National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Visit the Momella Lakes to spot flamingos and other water birds. Explore the Ngurdoto Crater, a collapsed volcano with lush vegetation and a variety of animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Take a guided walking safari to get closer to nature and experience the park on foot. Overnight stay at a lodge or campsite near Arusha National Park.
Day 2: Lake Manyara
Depart from Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and abundant birdlife. Embark on a game drive through the park, keeping an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Visit the alkaline Lake Manyara, which attracts large flocks of flamingos and other water birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, then take a nature walk along the shores of the lake or explore the park's dense forests. Overnight stay at a lodge or campsite near Lake Manyara.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
Depart from Lake Manyara and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most iconic natural wonders. Experience an incredible game drive in the crater, known for its high concentration of wildlife including lions, rhinos, hippos, and various bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater, then visit a Maasai village to learn about their traditional way of life and culture. Return to Arusha in the late afternoon.
