Tour Itinerary
Let's spend the day visiting the Tanzania Hadzabe Tribe Cultural Tribe, who are long-gone hunter-gatherers who live close to Lake Eyasi, a stunning soda lake that is a part of East Africa's Great Rift Valley. Engaging with the Hadzabe people will provide you the chance to learn about their hunting methods, survival skills, food preparation methods, and cultural customs.
The Hadzabe people go hunt for food by themselves, and when they come upon golden honey, luscious fruit, or robust wild animals (meat), they bring them home (hunted). In big groups, women go foraging for bright berries, baobab fruit, and tubers; their dietary sources vary depending on the availability of these goodies. Sweet honey, colorful fruit, tubers, and game are staples of their diet during the rainy, wet season. This tribe is extremely skillful, discriminating, and opportunistic in their search for opportunities, adjusting their meals according to the seasons. To provide for their family and tribe, they can only rely on themselves.
