Ghale Gaun Trek- 9 Days Trek
“What could we see around what we knew? Looking at the Moon and the mountains – impossibly far away, held a special attraction as it allowed dreaming beyond into the village, thinking about the rest of the world and space.”
Gurung communities of Lamjung Himal walking up a muddy road into the mountains for best memories with family and friends. The north and east part of Pokhara is an exotic pristine village with an unparallel scenic grandeur. Also home to world-famous Gurkha soldiers, known as Ghalegaun.
Ghale Gaun trek is one of the most unique trekking experiences and the perfect mixture of natural and cultural ingredients. Occasionally set as old cultural dances like the Jhyaure, Serka, Dohori, Ghantu, Ghyabring, Krishna Charitra and Jhakri are performed. It is accompanied by different musical instruments with the dancers in traditional dress. People are celebrating Nepali New Year and Buddha Jayanti with traditional dance called Ghats. A wonderful opportunity to watch the sky-high mountains, stroll alongside mountain lakes, chase mountain bees for fresh honey and rich flora-fauna diversity of mid-Nepali hills.
Warmly offering of garlands and tika, music with a dance performance and when guests depart traditional farewell songs. We believe that exploring this unique destination will provide a memorable holiday and seeing the rural real countryside of Nepal. Ghale Gaun (village) trek provides you with the rich and diverse people living in the hilly part of Nepal as well as enjoy the scenic view of mountain ranges of Nepal from the way as well as from the village itself. Of course, it gives you the lifetime experience which you will not forget ever in your life. Eventually, it becomes one of the stories of your life which you can share with your close ones. And we hope you will encourage to visit and experience the country just the way you did.
