This Pikey Peak Trekking is also known as Dudhkunda trek which is the name Pikey is derived from the name of a Sherpa Clan deity and offers the most effective opportunity to explore the renowned Mt.Everest region without getting disturbed by any sort of crowds which is explored by numerable trekkers having a gorgeous and spirited cultural path to Pikey peak. Moreover, this trek takes beautiful areas in Everest inhabited by Sherpa settlements.
Although it is a new trekking route within the Solukhumbu region the Everest and lower Khumbu regions are explorative. Along with the dramatically changing landscapes. The first submitter of the Everest was Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary during there mission of the Everest expedition.
The trek starts with the drive to Phaplu from Kathmandu which takes 8-9 hours. Heading from Phaplu, Our way to Shivalaya to Kinja, Pikey Base Camp, Junbesi and Taksindu. On our way to the trek Thubtenchoeling Monastery, and Chiwong Monastery will be a great experience. With the traditional Sherpa culture and their overwhelming welcome, the trek provides the view of many mountain ranges. Of course, the deep forests of Rhododendron throughout the trail.
The monsoon time June/July local people Sherpa people celebrate their CLAN god. They worship ceremony by Buddhist Lama and a group of Monks. In the monsoon time, they leave their domestic animals to feed hygiene grasses. Where tumbling ice falls suspend precariously above the holy mountain lake blue calm water. We tend to trek down via Trakshindo monastery to Phaphlu to require a breathtaking drive back to Kathmandu to finish our trip to Sherpa Everest Pikey Peak Dudhkunda trek or Pikey Peak Trekking.

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel preparation for trekking and overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2Kathmandu to Shivalaya (1770m) by bus/jeep 10:11 hrs
Day 3Trek Shivalaya to Kinja (1630m)
Day 4Trek Kinja to Goyam (3220m)
Day 5Trek Goyam to Pikey Base Camp (3640m)
Day 6Rest day hiking, chilling, exploring around and enjoying the view
Day 7Pikey Base Camp to Junbesi (2700m)
Day 8Trek Junbesi to Phaplu (2469m)
Day 9Phaplu to Kathmandu (1336m) by bus/ jeep 10:11 hrs
Day 10Departure to international airport or if you have few days extra in Kathmandu you can chill, shopping, sightseeing etc.
