Jomsom Muktinath Trek changes the leaves marks on memory, consciousness, heart, and body. We take something with us. Hopefully, we leave something good behind.
Jomsom Muktinath trek is the most popular trekking trail with spectacular diversity that appears at its finest. The trek begins from the windy city of Nepal, Jomsom. It winds through the trails of Kaligandaki River up to the sacred temple of both Hindus and Buddhists – Muktinath.
Jomsom is the gateway of Muktinath as well as Upper Mustang, the forbidden kingdom of Nepal. The deep valleys and high mountains encircling the giant Annapurna Himal embrace a wide range of people and terrain. The beauty of subtropical jungle to a high, dry landscape resembling the Tibetan Plateau. Jomsom Muktinath trekking is ideal for those wanting to explore the diversity of the Annapurna region without doing the full Annapurna Circuit trek. The Trek is year-round as most of the trekking region for the trek falls in the rain-shadow area.
Although appropriate for all, and a good family trek, there are a handful of challenges, beginning terribly ahead of time with the ascent up thousands of stone steps at Ulleri Hill. However, this simply adds to the journey and may be completed at a pace appropriate to anyone. Marpha is simply one among the attention-grabbing villages on the route. Its the center of apple vegetation in Asian country and therefore the village retains its original painted buildings and slim cobbled streets. There’s a Buddhist financial to visit in Marpha. Another fascinating place is the village of Kagbeni which is the entrance to a higher pony.
Though this trek doesn’t enter the Kingdom of Lo, trekkers will hunt the inhospitable depression and imaging the Trans-Himalayan salt mercantilism route that won’t run (and still will to some extent) through this village. Muktinath is the highest purpose of the path, with its attention-grabbing Hindu Temple, 108 stone water spouts and eternal flame.
