Namobuddha Day Hiking - 1 days

Morning drive past Bhaktapur city to reach at Dhulikhel town. And hike to Namobuddha with less two hour drives and 3-4 hrs walks and back to Kathmandu.
Morning starts after early breakfast, where our guide receives you for exciting drive past Kathmandu city heading due east. Then, pass the city (Bhaktapur)to reach at Sanga located on a hill top. You can witness towering high statue of Lord Shiva at Sanga. Continuing the trip, drive follows on good road to reach Dhulikhel town passing Banepa.

On reaching an old Newar town, walk starts heading past town areas to reach remote and isolated farm villages and hamlets. Thus, you will find yourself within green environment of tall rhododendron and pine trees. Getting out from this small forest areas takes you at peaceful surrounding of holy Namobuddha sites. Furthermore, the open space in the amid of forest is famous picnic spot for students as well as others.

Here, enjoy the tranquility with views of distant Himalayan peaks towards north. Moreover, visit its holy spots and monasteries with impressive Buddhist monuments and colorful prayer flags.
