Itinerary for 3 Days Tanzania Big 5 Safari
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti  Your journey begins with a morning departure from Arusha, heading toward the iconic Serengeti National Park. This scenic drive takes you through the landscapes of northern Tanzania, offering glimpses of local life along the way. Upon entering Serengeti, enjoy an exhilarating game drive, where you’ll have your first opportunity to spot members of the Big 5, along with other wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, and cheetahs. As evening approaches, arrive at your lodge or tented camp for dinner and a restful night surrounded by the Serengeti’s vibrant sounds.

Day 2: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim  After breakfast, continue your safari adventure with another game drive in Serengeti, exploring new areas and increasing your chances of spotting more of the Big 5. Later in the day, you’ll depart the Serengeti and head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim by evening, where you’ll settle in for an overnight stay with breathtaking views over this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site. This overnight experience offers a unique vantage point to appreciate the scale and beauty of Ngorongoro before descending into the crater the following day.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha  Early in the morning, descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in one of the world’s most unique wildlife habitats. The crater’s enclosed ecosystem is home to a high density of animals, providing excellent opportunities to see elephants, rhinos, lions, and a variety of bird species.
