Photography Safari-Green Season - 10 days

If you are considering a photography tour in Tanzania, you will be either looking to photograph the Wildebeest Migration on the southern plains of the Serengeti in Jan to March (where the grass is green, no dust and plenty of contrast) This makes for an incredible sight on game drives - you can expect to see newborn calves and you might be lucky enough to witness a birth, plus you’re likely to see plenty of predator action. The wildebeest encourage their newborns to get on their feet immediately and join the herd where there is safety in numbers. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, spotted hyenas and rare wild dogs wait in the surrounding areas ready to prey on the weak and vulnerable members of the herd.

PHOTO TOUR-ITINERARY:

DAY-1 | Arrive – Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are welcomed and transferred to the lodge, where you will be spending the night on a bed and breakfast basis. Welcomed and transferred to Lodge, where you will be spending the night on a bed and breakfast basis.

DAY-2 & 3 | Photo tour- Tarangire National Park
This morning you are transferred to Tarangire, where you will be staying for the next two nights on a full board basis. A packed picnic lunch is included for your transfer. En-route to lodge, you have a game drive in the Tarangire National Park.

DAY-3 /5 | Photo tour- Ndutu Plain
There are two beautiful sodic lakes in the vicinity. Being in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) you will be able to drive off road - a great advantage for getting close up to Africa's large mammals! This area is also the traditional birthing ground for the wildebeest,

DAY- 6 / 8 | Photo tour -Serengeti Plain
Guests will enjoy game drives and spend the evening around all-important campfire exchanging stories about the day’s events and making plans for the days ahead. Depending upon the location of the camp at any given moment, guests are also able to participate in Balloon Safaris. Spend three nights with all your meals and activities included.

DAY-9 | Photo tour-Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles; its magical setting and abundant wildlife never fail to enthrall visitors. Another big draw card to this picturesque Caldera, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, and if Lucky enough you will have chance to see the small cats like the Rare Caracal,

Around 9: am we will start our journey back to Arusha. Stop at cultural heritage for lunch and an optional shopping, and then drive to the hotel for a day use room before driving to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home.
