The Everest Advanced Base Camp Trekking trip begins with a Lhasa sightseeing tour. The two days guided sightseeing tour in Lhasa offers the wonderful sights of the Potala Palace, the famous palace of the Dalai Lama, Norbulinkha, the great Drepung Monastery, and the holy Jokhang Temple. The next part of the tour takes you to the Everest base camp via Khamba La, Karo La, and Gyatso La. The Tibetan desert terrain and the nomadic lifestyle of the ethnic communities with cultural heritages stretch throughout this spiritual highland. The Everest Advanced Base Camp journey begins from the north Everest base camp exploring the stunning Rongbuk valley. The Himalayan views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Shishapangma and the surrounding panoramas. The route goes through Camp I, Camp II and Camp III that leads you to the rocky summit. The outstanding views of the shiny white peaks, glacier and the challenging pinnacles offer you the real adventurous experience. Descending to the base camp, you drive all the way to Nyalam and drive further to Kathmandu.
Outline Itinerary
Day 01 Kathmandu (1,350m) – Lhasa (3,650m) or Arrival in Lhasa from China. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 Full Day Sightseeing Tour In Lhasa, such as Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and Tibet Museum etc. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 Full day Sightseeing tour to Lhasa. Visit famous sites such as Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 Drive 325km for 5-6hours from Lhasa to Gyantse (3,950m) via Karo La Pass and Yamdrok Tso Lake. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 Drive 95km from Gyantse to Shigatse (3,900m) via Shalu Monastery. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 Drive 274 km from Shigatse to Tingri (4150m) via Natang and Sakya Monastery. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 Drive 68 km from Tingri to Rongbuk (5,000m). Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 Rongbuk to Everest Base Camp(5220m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 09 Everest Base Camp to Camp I (5460m). Overnight t tented camp.

Day 10 Camp I to Interim Camp (5760m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 11 Rest day for acclimatization at Interim Camp. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 12 Interim Camp to Camp II (5970m). Overnight at tented camp.

Day 13 Camp II to ABC (6340m)and retreat to Camp II. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 14 Return from Camp II to Base Camp. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 15 Drive from the Everest Base Camp to Nyalam (3750m). Overnight at hotel.

Day 16 Drive from Nyalam to Kathmandu (1350m). Overnight at hotel.

Day 17 Transfer to airport for your final departure from Nepal.
