Detailed itinerary- 10 Days Gorilla Wildlife

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

You will be highly welcomed by our representative who will pick you and drop you at booked place of accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe for relaxation and overnight sta

DAY 2: PICK UP FROM PLACE OF ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI GORILLA PARK

Today will have heavy breakfast prepared for the long journey to bwindi Gorilla Park. immediately after breakfast you will meet your guide who will take you for the whole safari from our company and start your drive to bwindi with en-route stop to Uganda equator crossing in kayebwe have stop for photo moments and may be pick up some souvenirs on your costs and proceed with the journey passing via ankole masaka dry collider of lake mburo national park and you get a chance to see some zebras and impalas grazing together with ankole long horned cattle along the way and then have another stop in calm town of mbarara for lunch and relaxation after proceed to bwindi reaching late evening and check in to the booked lodge

DAY 3: GORILLA TRACKING IN BWINDI FOREST

After an early morning breakfast and after be driven to the briefing point thereafter you will start your tracking by 8:00a. This is demanding but rewarding experience. You will depart with packed lunch in boxes and drinking water and remember to bring jungle bots and rain coat with you. This park is covered in dense vegetation and rugged hills which demands that you’re physically fit. The time taken to reach gorillas varies according to their movements.

You will experience the thrill of spending time with the gentle apes for one hour and upon encounter, while is awesome and exciting adventure. You will return to the lodge for relaxation and take the rest of the day at the lodge until dinner

DAY 4: FULL DAY’S BATWA EXPERIENCE

You will have relaxed breakfast at the lodge and you will be taken for the community visit to batwa households and spend time learning about the life style and the way of living and their culture customs

You will enjoy tier cultural dances and have chance to demonstrate on how they used bows and arrows for hunting food

You will have diner and overnight at selected place of accommodation

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO ISHASHA AND AFTERNOON VISIT TO KAMEME WOMEN AND CHILDREN CULTURAL HERITAGE

Your will have relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to ishasha sector of queen Elizabeth national park with en-route viewing of tea plantation (2 hours driver). Check in to the booked lodge in ishasha and relax at the lodge and immediately after your lunch you can take to the community visit to kameme women and children cultural heritage projects and learn little about the bakiga culture and enjoy their cultural dances

DAY 6: EN-ROUTE GAME DRIVE TO MWEYA AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE ON KAZINGA CHANNEL

You will experience game drive en-route to mewya peninsula getting chance to spot rare tree climbing lions along ishasha sector hanging in the trees that mostly seen in this area and then spot more wildlife like solitary cape buffaloes, elephants , Uganda cobs, waterbucks, bushbucks alongside variety of birds. You will check into the booked lodge relax until lunch

In the evening like at 3:00pm you will be driven for evening adventure boat cruise along kazinga channel to enjoy more unforgettable game viewing of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes cooling their bodies on the river banks alongside abundant bird species like yellow billed stork, saddle billed stork ,pied kingfisher ,hammer kop and many more

DAY 7: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

After calm breakfast we will depart to k heading towards fort portal. Fort portal rests in the shadow of tabled mountain of the moon and famous for having many tea plantation, from this lovely town we will continue to while passing to the region of crater lakes before heading to the booked place of accommodation for relaxation , dinner and overnight

DAY 8: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING AND COMMUNITY VISIT AT TINKA’S HOMESTEAD IN BIGIDO VILLAGE

The forest is open its doors sensational chimp tracking, forest is reputable of having great variety and highest concentration of primates in east Africa. Enjoy the guided nature walks in the tropical rainforest in search of chimpanzee, red tailed monkeys, black and white Columbus monkeys and many others

You will then be taken to bigodi community to visit tinka’s homestead to learn more about the cultures around, learn how they prepare local food and have lunch with the tinka’s family

You will return to the lodge by evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight

DAY 9: RETURN TO KAMPALA AND TRANSFER TO JINJA

You will have relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to jinja from kibale with en-0route lunch in Kampala by afternoon and then proceed with the journey to jinja city with en-route great sceneries including mabira forest, tea plantations, sugarcane plantations in lugazi and many more

You will reach by evening and check in to the booked lodge for relaxation, diner and overnight

DAY 10: MORNING BOAT CRUISE TO VISIT SOURCE OF RIVER NILE AND RETURN TO KAMPALA

You will have morning breakfast and then drive to the briefing point for the resident’s guides who take around the adventure boat ride to visit the source of Nile for the unforgettable and amazing lifetime moments meeting the source of longest river in the world

You will return to the lodge for lunch and then drive back to Kampala for the option of taking departure flight or check in to the booked lodge of your choice for dinner and overnight

Dinner and overnight stay at friend’s hotel in Jinja on full board
