Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu(1300m.).
Our team member in International airport will welcome you and you will be taken to your respective hotel. After check in, and welcome drinks you will be free to explore around Thamel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast, our city tour leader takes you to visit several of the most historical and spiritual attractions of Kathmandu including Pashupatinath temple, Swyambhunath temple, and Durbar Square. Afterwards, you will meet with your trek leader and he will brief about your trip.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Chitwan
Our drive towards Chitwan takes about 3 hrs. along with the scene of charming rice terraced fields and powerful river. We will spot local flora and fauna i.e. musk deer, pheasants, peacocks, rhinos and potentially an endangered species “The Royal Bengal Tiger”, while taking an elephant ride. We will do a relaxing jungle walk to learn more about the national park while passing through untouched natural beauty. Unique cultural stick dance, can be our best entertainment feature at evening time along with other dances of cultural significance to the Tharu people.
Day 04: Chitwan
We will spend our overnight at Chitwan. In Chitwan, we will do a canoe ride to spot several types of fish, crocodiles and beautiful local plants native to the park. We will also visit the elephant breeding center and at evening time we will go for bird watching or fishing. Next, we do a relax and explore the local culture of the Tharu people.
Day 05: Chitwan to Pokhara
Before arriving in the peaceful lakeside town of Pokhara, we will continue our scenic trip through the valley on a 3-hour bus drive. Bindhyabasini Temple and a Buddhist monastery visiting provides you a chance to gain insight into the lives of the traditional monks living there.. We will visit the tradition museum of Pokhara to learn about the traditional culture and customs of the native ethnic groups. Later, we will explore the Devis Falls, Gupteshwar cave and the Tibetan refugee camp. Night time, we will go for short walk to lakeside area with a local style dinner.
Day 06: Pokhara
We will travel to the picturesque Sarankot, a station where you can experience paragliding to fly across the hills soaking in the regional landscapes as you soar with eagles. It is a wonderful viewpoint to view the remarkable sunrise and sunset offering views of mt. Annapurna and Dhaulagiri towering above the valley. Next, we will continue to hill top peace pagoda overlooking the mountains that reflects silently in the lakes tranquil waters. Finally, we will hike down to Phewa Lake and do some boat riding and swimming and relax
Day 07: Pokhara to Kathmandu
With your personal preference we will either take a scenic bus ride or flight back to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, Thamel you can explore sights of personal interest in the city.
Day 08: Kathmandu to Nagarkot
Today, we will visit the Nagarkot from where we can view the breathtaking views from the top of the hill. You will have a enough time to hike or to explore its surroundings before catching a sunset views of the entire valley and mountains. At evening we will relax at hotel.
Day 09: Nagarkot and Bhaktapur
Early morning we will take a picture of wonderful sunrise view and we will stop in the charming and quiet royal palace located in Bhaktapur. Highlights include the lion gate, golden gate, art gallery, royal statue and the legendary 55-window Malla palace. Finally, continue to Kathmandu with plenty of time to do some exploring and souvenir shopping before meeting for a farewell dinner and cultural performance to celebrate your journey.
Day 10: Departure
As your flight schedule our team member will escorts you to the airport. After our farewells, you will have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in Nepal with Visit View Nepal Trek & Expedition, as one time is never enough.
