Itinerary
The typical itinerary for an Everest Base Camp trek is approximately 12-15 days, allowing trekkers to acclimatize properly to the high altitude. Here's a general outline:
Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Manthali Airport and fly to Lukla (2,800 meters) and hike to Phakding 2610m
• Take a scenic 15 minute flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region.
• Start trekking to Phakding (2,610 meters).
Day 2: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 meters)
• Trek through beautiful forests and cross suspension bridges.
• Reach Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Khumbu region.
Day 3: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870 meters)
• Trek through rhododendron forests to Tengboche Monastery.
• Enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and more.
Day 4: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 meters)
• Descend to the Imja Khola and trek to Dingboche.
Day 5: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940 meters)
• Trek through the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier.
• Reach Lobuche with views of Nuptse.
Day 6: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,164 meters) to Everest Base Camp (5,364 meters)

Day 07: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545 meters) to Pheriche (4,280 meters)

Day 09: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
