Kathmandu Pokhara Sunrise Tour - 8 Days

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.

The representatives of our company will be at the airport to greet you and escort you to your comfortable hotel. We will use a private vehicle. Once you reach the hotel, our team will help you with the check-in process. You'll have a chance to freshen up and settle into your accommodation. The rest of the day is leisure. Explore your surroundings and meet us in the late evening for the welcome dinner.

Day 2 : Guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu .

Begin the day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel and later meet the tour guide in your hotel lobby. He will brief you on the day program and take you to different UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Monkey Temple, Patan Durbar Square, Boudhnath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple.

The tour will present you with the architectural wonders of Nepal along with rich culture, art, and vibrant markets. After the full day of the tour, the guide will drop you at the hotel. Explore the bustling streets of Thamel later in the evening and end the day with a delicious dinner.

Day 3 : Half-day Bhaktapur sightseeing.

On this day, you will visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture and cultural heritage. Explore the narrow streets of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, marveling at the intricate woodwork, ancient temples, and traditional Newari architecture that transports you back in time.

Visit the iconic Nyatapola Temple, 55-WIndows Palace, experience the bustling local markets, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of this ancient city. Try pottery if you fancy it, and taste some delicious local delicacies like juju dahu (a sweet yogurt). After the tour, the guide will drop you at the hotel.

Day 4 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (flight option with extra cost).

Today, you will depart from Kathmandu and follow a picturesque highway to Pokhara, the city of lakes. You also have the option to take a short flight to Pokhara. If you choose the road, enjoy the changing landscapes and local life during the approximately 6-hour drive.

Upon reaching Pokhara, settle into your accommodation with a likely view of the serene Phewa Lake and the Annapurna range. The rest of the day is yours to explore Pokhara's lakeside market and the serene Phewa Lake.

Day 5 : Full-day Pokhara sightseeing.

You will visit tourist sites in Pokhara. The day begins with a ride to Sarangkot viewpoint. From here, you will get to witness a beautiful sunrise along with an aerial panorama of Pokhara city and mountains like Fishtail, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri.

Further, visit sites like Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Mahendra Cave, International Mountain Museum, Peace Pagoda, etc. Explore the local markets and get to see the daily lifestyle of the locals. Try local food and buy souvenirs.

*Note: Sarangkot is famous for paragliding. It is supported by a professional paraglider, so it's very safe. You do not have to pay much to paraglide, and it will add a memorable moment to your journey. Let us know if you wish to combine paragliding during your visit to Sarangkot. (extra charge applies)

Day 6 : Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (flight option).

On this day, you will drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara. The ride will be the same as before- comfortable and scenic. Upon reaching Kathmandu, take the afternoon to relax or explore the city at your own pace, perhaps revisiting some favorite spots or discovering new gems. Explore nearby markets and buy souvenirs. If you have anything specific on your to-do list, let us know.

Day 7 : Free day in Kathmandu.

We have kept one full free day in Kathmandu. Whether you choose to unwind and recharge at your hotel, stroll through the vibrant streets of Thamel for some souvenir shopping, or delve into the city's rich cultural offerings by exploring additional landmarks and hidden gems, the day is entirely yours to design.

Consider visiting local markets, trying authentic Nepalese cuisine, or simply embracing the tranquility of a local spa. Our team is available to assist with any additional activities or recommendations you may desire, ensuring your last day in Kathmandu is as memorable and personalized as the rest of your remarkable journey.

In the late evening, we will meet for a farewell dinner.

Day 8 : Final Departure.

Meals: Breakfast only

You will fly back to your home. Our team will be at your hotel to help you with checkout and drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport as per your flight departure time.
