Tour Itinerary
Welcome to Arusha: After landing at Kilimanjaro Airport near Arusha, our driver-guide will be waiting for you at the airport and then drop you off at your hotel. Depending on your time of arrival in Tanzania, you can decide to receive a short safari briefing with your driver-guide on the same day or the next morning.
• Day 1, 2 & 3: Discover the amazing wildlife in Serengeti (Southern Serengeti)
Your drive will drive-guide will drive you from Arusha to Serengeti via Ngorongoro. Along the way, you will pass small towns and villages. After entering the Nabii gate you can start your photo safari in the most famous wildlife reserve in the world – the Serengeti on the (southern Serengeti). In the Maasai language, "Sirengeti" means "endless plain".
The steppe gained worldwide fame through Bernhard Grzimek's documentary "Serengeti Shall Not Die”.
In addition to the vast grassland, from which granite rocks, known as kopjes, often protrude, there are also incredible natural spectacles awaiting you in the oldest national park in Tanzania.
In April y a lot of animals are found in southern Serengeti. You will spend most of your time in this since in another part it rains at that season and animals migrate to the southern part of Serengeti.
• Days 4 & 5: Explore Ngorongoro crater the largest caldera in the world
After breakfast, leave Serengeti and drive to Ngorongoro and descend to the Crater
The hills and mountains of the Ngorongoro area are all the more impressive after the wide grassy plains. You'll enjoy a full-day safari in the largest volcanic crater in the world!
The Ngorongoro caldera, with a diameter measuring up to 21 km, is not only populated by more than 360 bird species but also up to 25,000 large mammals. The crater also has the highest predator density in Africa.
The Ngorongoro Crater is also the place you are most likely to see all the Big Five – elephant, black rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard.
Here, unlike other national parks, the Maasai can live side by side with the wildlife to continue their culture and rituals.
• Day 6: Enjoy Your Last Bush Safari in Tarangire
Your driver-guide will drive to Tarangire National Park, from Karatu town. If you wish, the trip can be interrupted at any time to make a short stop at a stall or to tour a market.
During the dry season, the Tarangire River is a magnet for thirsty animals. In addition to wildebeests, zebras, lions, elephants, impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, and gazelles, the park is home to hundreds of impressive bird species. So keep your eyes open!
• Day 7: Farewell!
After a wonderful trip to Tanzania, it's now time to say goodbye. You will be driven from your hotel to the airport where you will start your journey home.
