Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival of Addis Ababa at Addis Ababa bole international airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. Then you will have a sight seeing tour of the city if time permits. Dinner and Overnight hotel

Day 2. Addis Ababa-Meqelle- Gheralta- Fly to Mekele then drive to Hawzan (Gerealta) then visit Tigray Rock Hewn Churches, Dinner and overnight Hotel at Wukro

Day 3. Wurkro-Hamedela- Drive to hamedela en roué visit the local afar people and camel caravan. Overnight Camping

Day 4. Hamedela- drive to Dallol(one of the lowest place on the Earth) then back to Ahmedala, overnight camping.

Day 5. Ertale- Drive to Dodom then trek to lave crater Erta Ale, overnight camping.

Day 6. Ertale- Erta Ale second day visit around the Erta Ale, overnight camping.

Day 7. Meqelle- Drive to Mekele through different Afar Villages. Overnight Hotel

Day 8. Addis Ababa-departure- Fly back to Addis Ababa, Then visit Mercato the biggest open- air market in Africa, different souvenir shops and transfer to the airport for the international flight.
