Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru
Met upon arrival at the airport in Nairobi or picked from your Nairobi city hotel and drive north to Lake Nakuru National park with game viewing en-route to Sarova Lion Hill for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is known as a Ramsar bird site specifically founded for the protection of the black and white rhino. It is also a home for more than 450 species of birds including the lesser and greater flamingos, pelicans, African fish eagles and many others. Safari to Lake Nakuru can offer spotting of four of The Big five - Leopard, Lion, Rhino and Buffalo. Dinner and overnight Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara
After breakfast, drive further south west through the floor of the great rift valley to Lake Naivasha. (Optional boat ride to while at Lake Naivasha). Lake Naivasha is a fresh water lake with a picturesque view of Mount Longonot, hippos, over 400 species of birds on the island including pelicans, African fish eagles, African darter, cormorants and the lesser flamingos which are migratory) then drive to Masai Mara with a stopover at the home town for the Masai herdsmen, Narok. Proceed to Masai Mara and arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the vast Mara plains in search for the predators such the lions with dark manes, cheetahs, leopard and many herbivores especially during the yearly migration of wildebeest between July – September. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara
Full day of your safari in the Masai Mara, dedicated to early morning, mid-morning and afternoon game drives or full day game viewing depending on one's choice. (Optional visit to Masai village or balloon safaris can be organized locally). All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa safari lodge.
Day 4: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Early morning game drive. Breakfast and thereafter drive to Nairobi arriving at your city hotel in the afternoon and end your 4 Days Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara Safari.
