Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi Welcome to Kenya! Our friendly Jossec Safaris team will meet you at the airport for a warm welcome and briefing about the exciting days ahead. Afterward, we’ll transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi, where you can relax and prepare for your adventure.

Day 2: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve We set off early for Samburu, a region known for its striking landscapes and unique wildlife like the Grevy's zebra and reticulated giraffe. After settling in and having lunch, you'll enjoy an afternoon game drive, experiencing the beauty of Samburu and spotting animals as they gather by the Ewaso Ng’iro River.

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu Explore the wonders of Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. This reserve offers exceptional sightings of big cats, elephants, and other rare animals. Between game drives, enjoy some downtime at your lodge, soaking in the beauty of Kenya’s rugged wilderness.

Day 4: Samburu to Lake Nakuru Today, we travel to Lake Nakuru, famous for its pink flamingos, rhinos, and scenic views. After checking in and having lunch, you’ll set off on a thrilling afternoon game drive, exploring the park’s shores and spotting unique wildlife.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha In the morning, enjoy one more game drive at Lake Nakuru. Then, we’ll journey to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake surrounded by vibrant wildlife. Once there, you have the option to take a boat ride to get close to hippos and see a variety of bird species. Afterward, relax at your accommodation or explore the lakeside.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara Today, we drive to Kenya’s most famous reserve, the Maasai Mara. Arriving in time for lunch, you’ll take in the sweeping views of the plains before an exciting afternoon game drive. The Mara is renowned for its vast herds of wildlife, including lions, elephants, and giraffes, all set against a stunning savannah backdrop.

Day 7: Full Day in Maasai Mara Get ready for an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing in the Maasai Mara. Today includes full-day game drives with a picnic lunch, allowing us to explore deeper into the Mara. The Maasai Mara is home to the Big Five and hosts the incredible wildebeest migration during certain months. For a once-in-a-lifetime experience, you can opt for a sunrise hot air balloon safari to see the park from above.

Day 8: Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi After a final morning game drive in the Mara, we’ll head back to Nairobi, with an afternoon arrival for a restful evening in the city or shopping for last-minute souvenirs.

Day 9: Departure Enjoy breakfast in Nairobi before our team transfers you to the airport. We’ll bid you farewell, sending you off with incredible memories and dreams of future safaris.
