Omo Valley Ethiopia Tour from Addis Ababa - 9 Days and 8 Nights

Day1. Arrival and Addis Ababa City Tour

To day you will explore the capital city of Ethiopia and center of African Union as well Many non African diplomats ,Addis Ababa. During your tour you will visit the national museum where Lucy is located , Entoto park -best view point to see the city , Trinity church and Merkato - the biggest open market in Africa.

Day2. Fly to Jink and Jinka Village
up on arrival at jinka airport transfer to hotel and after lunch, we will visit the Jinka museum and the beautiful Ari tribe village . O/n Jinka at hotel

Day3. jinka-Visit Mursi tribes -Jinka - Turmi

Early in the morning , we drive 72km to mursi via the Mago national park home to indigenous plant ,head to mursi tribes and thier villages one of the unique tribes who still have leap plate and lives in the upper part of Mago national park. Then, we drive back to Jinka for lunch. In the afternoon, again we drive south west of Jinka to Turmi which is the heart of Hammer Tribes. O/n Turmi in lodge or camping.

Day4. Turmi-Dassanech - Hammer village -Turmi

In the morning, we drive 72km to Omorate to visit the last tribes of omo valley the dassanech tribes and thier villages settled close to Ethoi-kenya border. we traverse here by local boat the omo river flows till lake turkana kenya. we drive back to turmi for lunch then late afternoon visit the lovely hammer village with the beautiful sunset. O/n Turmi

Day5. Turmi-Karo-Dimeka-Konso

To day we will leave our hotel early in the morning then we drive 65km from turmi to see the Karo tribes who settled near by the omo river then back to turmi and continue our drive to Konso then stop at small hammer town Dimeka to see the biggest market of the tribes and held at Saturday. continue to konso via the woyto spectacular roads and arrive at konso late afternoon stay overnight at hotel konso.

Day6. Konso - Villages -Arba Minch

After break fast , we drive nearby to visit the konso tribes well known by terrace and unique villages then, visit konso museum up to mid day . After lunch we drive north of Konso to Arbaminch the capital of Gamo zone . You will be in Arbaminch by late afternoon.O/n Arbaminch hotel

Day7. Excursion to chamo lake and Dorze Village

To day we will drive 12km to chamo lake and we have boat trip and stay there to see the Biggest Nile Crocodile ,nature ,different aquatic birds until mid day .Then, we drive back to the town for lunch . Afternoon , we drive 30km to see the Dorze village known by thier traditional bamboo house and waving system then end of day back to Arbaminch . O/n Arbaminch

Day8. Drive to Hawassa

Afte break fast, we drive to hawassa city 272km through the beautiful road and stop on the way at sodo to see villages of wolayta and sidamo tribes and arrive at hawassa. After noon, you will visit the hawassa lake and highlights of the city .O/n Hawassa

Day9. Drive to Addis Ababa

After break fast, you will visit the hawassa fish market then drive back to the capital Addis Abeba, on the way you will see ziway lake and beautiful birds . We will be in Addis by late afternoon . Finally , you will have welfare program in the evening then transfer to airport to depart home.
