Legacy Of Faith Tours

Legacy of Faith Tours offers inclusive tours visiting historic sites of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We are the only Church History tour company out of Arizona. We want to create an opportunity for those from Arizona to experience these historical sites in a convenient and personal way. On our tours we visit many sites including the Sacred Grove, Hill Cumorah, Book of Mormon Publication Site, Priesthood Restoration Site, Kirtland Temple, Kirtland Village, Independence, Adam-Ondi-Ahman, Far West, Nauvoo, Carthage, Council Bluffs, Winter Quarters and many more. Legacy of Faith Tours was created by Rinda Updike. She describes herself as a “church history nerd”. She was one of the first young sisters missionaries called to the Hill Cumorah Historical Sites. Studying the lives of those who were a pivotal part of the restoration became a passion for her, and she helped compile the early study curriculum for the site sisters who served there. As a student, she spent two years working in the Church History Department at BYU. Rinda has taught early morning and release time seminary in Sacramento, Provo, Spanish Fork, Springville, Chandler and Mesa. She also had the privilege to teach a Church History course at ASU Institute of Religion for a semester. Legacy of Faith Tours has been 20 years in the making. Rinda is very grateful and excited to help people experience these historical sites that have meant so much to her.
