Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Meet and assist at Queen Alia Airport- Transfer to hotel for overnight stay in Amman.
Day 2 – Madaba, Mount Nebo, Dead Sea: – After breakfast, head towards Madaba, the city of Mosaics, which has the oldest known mosaic map of the holy land. After that we will go to view the Jordan Valley from the famous Mount Nebo. Transfer to Dead Sea, the lowest point on the surface of the earth for lunch and a swim in its warm salty waters. Then we will continue our trip down to the capital of the Nabateans, Petra for dinner & overnight at hotel.
Day 3 – Petra: The ancient city of Petra is one of Jordan's national treasures and by far its best known tourist attraction. Petra is the legacy of the Nabateans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Admired then for its refined culture, massive architecture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels, Petra is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll explore chunks of this fantastic once-lost city which is full of tombs, temples, an impressive amphitheater and a Roman colonnaded street. The intrepid can ascend either on foot or Donkey the hundreds of rock-cut steps to Ad-Deir. Better known as the Monastery, Ad-Deir has a similar facade to that of the Treasury, but is far bigger and the views from the nearby cliff-tops are awesome. We will continue to Wadi Rum Jordan’s largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world. Tonight you will enjoy a magical evening of star gazing, dinner.
Day 4 –Wadi Rum In the morning we will explore the desert by jeep. This is a stupendous, timeless place, virtually untouched by humanity and its destructive forces. Here, it is the weather and winds that have carved the imposing, towering skyscrapers, so elegantly described by T.E. Lawrence as "vast, echoing and God-like..." We will begin our day with a jeep tour we will visit Nabataen inscriptions, Lawrence’s Cave, Rock Bridge, you will also enjoy some of the most beautiful sand dunes, sunrises & sunsets in the world, onward departure to Amman Airport.
